This life-size piece is a nod to the beautiful array of masks in Venice and is modeled from one of them gifted to me by a dear friend. Incidentally, I began collecting peacock feathers with this same friend during an art supply run in Boston years ago. It is a tactile and textural work evocative of mystery, possibility, and a sense of being transfixed in the moment.
